Drabble Meme: Five Random Songs and Five Spike/Willow Drabbles (Various Ratings)
snagged from
darlingchaos
Meme: Put your iPod on shuffle. Write a drabble for the first five songs that come up. You must write the drabble in the amount of time the song runs for.
I was struck by curiosity when I saw this pop on my friends list but I figured it couldn't hurt to try. Plus, the professor I have for my summer class (Assessment and Treatment of Abusive Behaviors) encouraged us to do as much self-care as possible. And writing fanfiction is certainly part of how I do that.
These ended up featuring Spike and Willow as the central characters and the central pairing.
Also, none of these were beta'd so if you spot anything glaring let me know.
Song: My Eyes
From: Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog
Word Count: 97
Rating: PG/FRT
The world doesn’t seem fun anymore. It used to be happy meals with legs. That’s all it took to content him. But now, there’s Buffy. An all-consuming obsession that rips him up from the inside. She makes him hurt too much.
There’s still hope in the world. Willow has to believe that something is gonna turn around for her despite this seemingly awful downward spiral she’s heading down. It’s what she needs to hold onto to get through this. To get through the hellmouth. To get through the pain of lost romances.
To get to something better.
Song: What Is This Feeling?
From: Wicked: Original Soundtrack
Word Count: 131
Rating: FRM/R
He feels the surge inside him the moment he lays eyes on her. She’s too good, too pure, too innocent. She’s too much of what he used to be. The awkward poet. The pitiful lover. He wants to hate her for it, wants to loathe her for being a reflection of himself. Humans shouldn’t be allowed to have that kind of impact. Shouldn’t be allowed to wriggle under the skin of a vampire, a cold-blooded killer. He needs to take her out. Needs to destroy her. Needs to feel her blood pumping under the prick of his teeth. Needs to feel her life drain away from her before he gives her new life.
The urge to turn her is stronger than the urge to watch her go peacefully into the ground.
Song: The Spectrum Song
From: Walt Disney Classics Soundtrack
Rating: FRC/G
Word Count: 56
The colors of the world blend together to paint something beautiful, palpable. Willow used to love the sunset. She loved standing on the edge of her bedroom balcony and putting her brain on pause. She didn’t need to think about it in terms of math, science, or physics.
She just needed to drown herself in it.
Song: Come Back Around
From: Feeder
Rating: FRT-13/PG-13
Word Count: 146
The first time was right in front of the wall that separated the bathrooms at the Bronze. It wasn’t like they didn’t run into each other plenty on patrols or at the Magic Box but this time felt different. Like there was some sort of strange magnetic charge keeping them from moving skin off skin. Her fingers stroked his cheek and his eyes burned with an untapped fire. She wanted to feel something in the waves of loss she’d experienced recently and he wanted to feel something that wasn’t the hard, calloused touch of the Slayer.
“Red…” He breathed her in before capturing her mouth in a fierce kiss. He wanted to burn all the memories away. Didn’t care which ones they were as long as they were gone.
And once they started, there was no chance of coming back from the point of no return.
The Bad Touch
The Bloodhound Gang
Rating: FRAO/NC-17
Word Count: 152
Willow panted beneath him like a two-cent whore, body writhing on the flowery spread of her mattress. Sweat dotted her forehead as her arms wrapped around his neck pulling his face towards hers as her hips pushed upwards to lock him inside her.
The girl was bloody desperate for it and he, as a gentleman, was more than happy to oblige her. He never would have guessed that the dirtiest girl in Sunnydale would be the one wearing the patterned stockings and mauve sweaters.
He had heard the rumors about the smut goddess that was her vampire doppelganger but that didn’t hold a candle to what she was making him feel now. Didn’t need to be a vampire to love like this, to fuck like this. Just needed to have a strong sense of passion and desire. Something that Willow was brimming with and something he would never take for granted again.
