Welcome To TV Land
When I've dreamed of this moment, I've Had the Time of My Life was always playing. Well, what can you do?"
-Logan Echolls, Veronica Mars
For the most part, I liked this episode. I think Kal Penn is adorable and I have no troubles accepting him as the man in Robin's life for the moment because he's not being pushed on me as a game-changer for Robin like Don was back in Season 5. Plus, Kal Penn's presence means that they are therapy jokes and as a therapist-in-training, I get a kick out of that stuff. Other things I loved: Robin and Barney being an investigative team, finding out the gender of the LAME baby, Ted's incoherent babbling once he finds out his date's secret, and the coup de grĂ¢ce: the return of MURDER TRAIN!!
It still has a lot of flaws as a show. For example, I'm getting really, really sick of Oleg. Sexual harassment and rape jokes aren't funny and there seems to be at least one an episode. Also, the horse makes me feel like I'm watching Mr. Ed, but not in fun way. More like a distracting way. That said, I do like the chemistry/relationship that's forming between Kat Dennings (love her) and Beth Behrs and I also like Garrett Morris as Earl. So...I guess I'm going to keep watching it.
Jason. Fucking. Dohring.
HUMINA HUMINA HUMINA!
I'm so freaking excited about his guest star arc on this show. So freaking excited! :D

I agree about Oleg. His character has no real value in the show other than to add gross-out and creepy sexual humor. But I agree with the things you like. THe show's tone still feels uneven to me but I like Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs enough to keep watching.
P.S. It is unacceptable that I currently have no Veronica Mars icon to use on this comment.

I'm going to keep watching 2 Broke Girls as well. Surely, it'll figure it's tone out soon.
PS. I only have the one, if that makes you feel any better.

I do recommend you watch Veronica Mars though, if you haven't already. I heart that show.

And I agree... I'm sure they're still working out the kinks and the show will get more even with time.

2 Broke Girls and Ringer sound so interesting! I shall check them out after exams, in case I get addicted now. ;D
