Wedding Dresses Part Deux: The Electric Boogaloo

Yesterday, I spent the morning with my sister and my mama checking out wedding dresses. This time we went to a store close to my mom's house called Ameliashan Bridal. This is the same store where I brought my prom dress in high school and it's owned by the lady who used to be my drama club teacher in high school as well. We got the chance to take some pictures so I'm bringing you my Top 5 choices. They are in order of my preference currently, but feel free to vote for your favorites as well.



1. Lace


2. Sister's Choice (i.e. the one I didn't expect to like, but did.)


3. The First Dress (i.e. my top choice from the first round we did of dress shopping back in March)


4. The Color (Dark Purple)


5. The Halter

It was definitely hard to narrow down my choices to a top two and I'll admit that part of my rationale for the top 2 was fiscally related.

I absolutely love the First Dress-- it's so different from the wedding dresses you tend to see over and over, and I just love it.

But I also completely love the #1 on this list, and the dress with dark purple.

I think you look amazing in all of them

#2 had a pretty appealing price tag.

So does #3 though and it will require less hemming than #2.

Still, I think #1 and #4 are pretty damn awesome.

You look lovely in all of them, but my picks would be 1 & 3. The lace gown looks absolutely amazing on you! And the Grecian one has a beautiful simplicity to it. But I really, really love the lace one on you. :)

My favorites are definitely numbers 1 and 4. I think sleeveless is a great look for you, and I tend to prefer that look in wedding dresses anyway. 4 miiiiiight edge out for me a bit because purple's my favorite color, and I also think it's really unique to not have the wedding dress be completely white. But ultimately, I advise one of those two!

I wasn't really sure about sleeveless, but based on the pics for #1 and #4, I think I could be okay with it.

While I like the other two too, I think your sister's choice make look your hips more larger than they are, and the empire one make you look pregnant for me ehehehehehe

I think some of those issues could be adjusted with alterations, but I agree. That lace dress blows me away.
