Looking back, did you write more fics than you thought you would this year, fewer than you thought, or about what you predicted?
I wrote less than predicted, but was glad that I managed to write twelve fics this year. :)
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2012?
I would say femslash in general. The community
femslash_minis really piqued my muse this year and without that community, I'm not sure I would have written as much as I did.
What's your favourite story this year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you the happiest?
Le Petit Mort . This story challenged me and excited me. I truly believe it's my best story of the year.
Okay, NOW your most popular story.
Based on number of comments, I'm going to say: Stuck . Willow, Angel, and Spike tend to be a popular threesome among my reader circle.
Story most under appreciated by the universe?
I Believe (In Diddley Swag) . This was my one and only foray into another fandom this year. I think it turned out cute, but I'm not really apart of the Parks and Rec fandom to begin with so I can see why it went under appreciated.
Those fics where I think it's the pairing/setting that puts people off and where you could click if you want to make me happy:
Our Issues Have Issues - Willow/Sandy. For those that don't remember, Sandy was vamped by Vamp!Willow in Season 3 and showed up again in Season 5 to guide Riley down the path of addiction.
Le Petit Mort - First Slayer/OFC.
Note To Self (The Chocolate Candy Remix) - Joyce/Willow
Story that could have been better?
I think some of my stories written for
femslash_minis could use some improvement as they were all written for a very short timeframe and some of them are written for pairings that I wasn't really prepared for.
Sexiest story?
Le Petit Mort - First Slayer/OFC. This was really the only sex I wrote this year.
Most fun story?
In The Absence of Mistletoe (Dawn/Cordelia)
Story with single sweetest moment?
I'm not entirely sure, but let's go with Stuck (Willow/Angel/Spike)
Hardest story to write?
Why Don't You Do Right? (Tara/Warren). This was the darkest story I wrote all year. Lots of nasty, nasty things happened and it was quite the challenge to get into Warren's mind.
Easiest story to write?
More Than A Mission . I churned out 4000+ words in one sitting. Not only was this story my longest one-shot ever, but it also seemed to be the story most ready to pop out of my brain.
New Year Fic Resolutions? (new question because I want to write them down)
Keep writing.
