HIMYM Ponderings: Lily and Porn

There's a moment in the most recent episode of HIMYM (The Front Porch), where Barney is describing a scenario in which his suit jammas got him two attractive, horny, and oiled hotties into his apartment. The gang, of course, calls him out on it and Lily starts by saying that she knows the exact movie it came from but catches herself before revealing the title. Firstly, I loved Barney's reaction. It's one of those 'Girls watch porn?' looks that remind me why I love shipping Barney/Lily in the first place.

But it also got me thinking.

In the episode "World's Greatest Couple" from Season 2, Barney is preparing Lily for his porn showcase by saying "While Ted and Marshall hide their porn..."

Lily's reaction is thus: "Marshall doesn't have porn." But there's something in the way she says it...kinda that half-giggly, half-annoyed tone that makes me wonder if what she's really trying to say is "Marshall doesn't have porn. But I do."

We all know Lily's horny so it doesn't surprise me that she's probably as much of a porn addict as Barney is. She just hides it well.

So my pervy friends, what are your thoughts?

Hey. I hope you don't mind comments from random people who creep the journals of their favourite authors (seriously, your smut is amazing).

Lily knowing the title of the porn the Barney was referring to actually sent me in a different direction, and now there's a fic in the process about it. My first thought was not that Lily had her own porn collection, but that Barney caught her watching porn at his apartment sometime in the two weeks she lived with him. I blame this theory on the abundant smut I've been reading recently.

You know, I've had two thoughts since I posted this

One is that Lily watched porn at Barney's apartment (or they watched one together)

But also...I think it would be really entertaining if Lily had a porn collection she had to hide at Barney's to keep Marshall from finding out.
