Day 09- Best Scene Ever - Grey's Anatomy - Denny's Death

I know I could choose a scene from Buffy or Angel or any other show, but after careful thought, the one that burrowed deep into my heart and shattered it into pieces is this one:

As much as I love this show, I have to say the episodes that affect me every single time are within the first few seasons. I used to cry like a baby every single time. That still happens on occasion, but nothing has ever hit me the same way this scene did. The speech Alex gives, followed by the way he lifts Izzie into his arms and lets her cry into his shoulder makes me choke up every time.

OMFG!!! This scene was so...WOW! And then when they all walk where the others are standing and Izzie just confess..this whole episode was great!!!! Really really good choice!! I'll do this meme too but forgot my list at the office because I took the stuff that first came to my mind^^

I liked the scene the best where Izzie and Christina takes care of Meridith after the bomb explosion...it just has something special to me!!

That's a great one too.
Esp. because it is such a poignant parallel to the scene in the beginning of that two parter where George imagines Izzie, Christina, and Meredith soaping each other up.

*nods* I had goose pumps in that scene especially together with the music...it was wow!

Or the scene where Meredith drowns and her monologue during that scene when she gets down...*shivers*

That's when I loved that show. We've broken up since then but those first two seasons are just freakin' killer for me. (That and the episodes where Meredith is in the coma in season 3) I wept like nothing during this episode. Just killed me.

I haven't given up on the damn thing yet, though there were times I considered doing so (ex. ghost!Denny. But the payoff after that crap was well worth it.)
