Thanks and Nerdiness

First, I want to extend loads of thanks to katsa_db_lover, sweet_lyri, idoticonion, and spikesredqueen for the fabulous v-gifts gracing my profile page.

Second, I learned something new today from one of the engineers at Power Packer that just makes me positively giddy. They are called Windows Alt Codes and they are a shortcut way to creating symbols for those of us who find the whole "insert symbol function" annoying.

Anyways, for the project I'm working on I have to use:

Diameter: Ø (Alt 0216)
Degrees: ° (Alt 0176)
Plus/Minus: ± (Alt 0177)

Apparently a google search for Windows Alt Codes will lead me to more but I haven't done it yet.

Yep, I'm a nerd and I'm proud of it.
