If I had pancakes, I would be thanking sleep for finally coming to visit me last night. :) I pretty much zonked out around 9:30 PM after trying a few "insomnia" remedies (i.e. going for a nice long walk outside and following it with a cup of chamomile tea.)

The White Knight Awards , a charming little site devoted to all things Xander fanfiction, is looking for nominees. My advice? Go out there and show our favorite one-eyed goofy man a little love by nominating your favorite stories. (Self-noms are accepted.)

After their brief hiatus, The Running With Scissors Awards (a Buffy/Angel award community) is back open for business. They are accepting nominations until November 30th.

So go over there, read the rules, and nominate your favorite author or artist for an award. I promise you'll make someone's day by doing so!

Nominations for Round 6 are open at the Running With Scissors Awards, which is a celebration of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Series. The only crossovers allowed are with Supernatural.

The bestest, most awesome-nest How I Met Your Mother Awards community is coming at ya with a new round that promises to be bigger and badder than the last one.

The goal of this round is to celebrate HIMYM fics written in the last six months so all noms must be date-stamped between December 20, 2008 and June 30, 2009.

Remember back in February when I said I was participated in a HIMYM Smut Duel?

Well...

The HIMYM Ultimate Smut Duel at mature_himym ends today at 11:59 PM EST/10:59 PM CST.

As of this moment, six authors have participated and there are 16 entries (combination of slash and het)

What I find really entertaining is all of them feature Barney Stinson.

Anyways, the polls are going up shortly after the contest ends, there will be polls posted to vote for: "Smut Queen (AKA Best Smut Author), Best Smut Story - Slash, and Best Smut Story - Het.

If you'd like to participate in the voting round (and you know I'd love to have all of your support for this!), you do need to be a member of the community and your DOB must be on your profile. All members need to be over the age of 18 and we do check your profile.
