absence_oflight is a community devoted to showcasing the dark and angst-filled side of the Buffy and Angel fandoms.

This is completely not related at all to my Ireland trip except for the fact that I'm sitting in a computer room for Trinity College :)

I got an email notification saying I was nominated for Best Dark Author at the the Absence of Light awards. And holy crap!!!!!!! My head is spinning at the idea that someone would even consider me worthy of that honor.

The shadows of darkness and angst have officially descended over the Buffy/Angel 'verse and the authors who took us there have been given the recognition they deserve through fan vote and judge's vote.
