Thank you to velvetwhip for the movie, the fun pedicure scrub, and the nail polish. I'm really dig that shade of blue. :)

First, I want to thank mypetconcubine for the lovely card, velvetwhip for the nifty card and mix CD, and purplefeen for the copy of The Book Thief. I look forward to enjoying all of these things. :)

Third, I love and adore my niece and nephew, but I must say I feel pretty cemented in my decision not to have children at any time.

Forth, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train came to Portage today and we got to celebrate the music of Christmas with big flakes of white snow falling from the sky. I do so enjoy Holiday Train day. :)

The pumpkin cookies on my profile page are adorable.

In other news, Nick and I exchanged presents last night on account of it being Yule (and I was bummed because my computer had a virus. Nick made my computer better though so yay! Malwarebytes seriously rocks, I say.) He got me a TomTom GPS Unit and I got him The Big Book of Top Gear 2011, Where's Stig: The Glovebox Edition, and Alice in Zombieland.

Tomorrow morning, Nick and I are heading down to my parents for the holiday weekend and there's a super good chance that I won't see the Internet until Monday.

I got a lovely package in the mail today containing the DVD, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

Thing a Day 3: Saw my friend, Sabrina, and her newborn, Anthony, today. We had a really nice time hanging out together. Oxygen was running a marathon of America's Next Top Model's Cycle 10 so we half-watched a few episodes while we chatted and ate the cheesecake sample I picked up. Anthony did very little fussing and one of the few times he did, I managed to calm him down! WOO!

Thing a Day 4: There's a man from the State coming to the Pauquette Center tomorrow to critique, and hopefully credential, our day treatment program.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous.
