I feel like I've indulged in a lot of films and TV this weekend.

For starters, I saw The Hunger Games on Friday and I absolutely adored that. It gave me so many feelings!! Plus, Katniss is totally bad-ass and Lenny Kravitz seriously impressed me in the role of Cinna. &hearts &hearts

Saturday, I finally finished watching the first season of new Doctor Who after taking a super-extended break so I could finish That 70's Show earlier this week.

Sunday, I watched Her Minor Thing with Christian Kane on my Netflix Instant. I really thought CK and Rachel Dratch had all the best parts and on the whole, I found the film...cute.

I also found out that Saved by the Bell is now playing on instant. This is how I learned that the "first" season of Saved By The Bell is actually the 13 episodes from the short-lived show Good Morning, Ms. Bliss, which stars Hayley Mills, Mark Paul Gosselar, Lisa Voorhees, Dustin Diamond, and Principal Belding. I've watched the first two episodes and I really must say that it's weird seeing this show without Slater, Jesse, and Kelly Kapowski. I can't wait until I get to the true "first" season of SBTB so I can watch the episodes I remember best from my adolescent years.

Her Minor Thing is a cute movie. CK is very hot in it. I remember interviews where he said it was one of his few "good guy" roles.

I actually watched Good Morning Miss Bliss when it was on air because I was obsessed with Haley Mills when I was younger (from her childhood days as a Disney star).

CK is hot in everything. :P

I did always like Hayley Mills during her Disney days. We watched all of The Parent Trap movies on old VHS tapes all of the time.

You could make a case for Showgirls being the teenage boy fantasy of one of the boys on SBTB.

I just saw this morning that Saved by the Bell is on Netflix, and I'm psyched about it! I watched Good Morning Miss Bliss obsessively as a kid; I loved Nikki! And Haley Mills of course.

Sounds like you watched tons of good stuff!!!!

LOL.

I'd wager...Dustin Diamond would be the best candidate. My dad met him in person once.

Oh Saved by the Bell... *happy sigh* I loved that show so hard. Yeah, those earlier years are just weeeeeird.

HUNGER GAAAAAAAMES!!! I need to reread those books like now, man. I wanted to wait until after I saw the movie so that I wouldn't hate them for what they left out. LOVED the movie like woah fire.

As for hating them for what was left out, I really don't feel that way at all.

I think this article really explains that feeling best. :)

I read that. I didn't have any issues with the movie when I saw it but I don't like to read the books just before seeing a movie because then you tend to focus on what was left out rather than how well the movie flowed...

I feel the same way about Saved By the Bell on Netflix Instant. I'm also in the pilot season and can't wait for Slater and the gang!
