Dilemma

So, I fudged things up on the wedding end by not turning in a contract for a cupcake vendor in a timely fashion so I lost out on working with them.

My mom came to the rescue and found a vendor who can work with us. But they're next available appointment is the same day I was planning on heading down to the Ren Faire.

Now, here are the options I am faced with.

I can either:

1) Attend the cupcake appointment with Nick, then drive 2 1/2 hours to the Faire ground site, stay in the hotel room I'm booked in, and go to Faire on Sunday only.

or

2) I can cancel my trip to Faire completely and focus solely on the wedding stuff.

Decisions, Decisions.

EEK. That does sound like a very difficult choice.

I know, right?

Right now, it's just the cupcake thing.

I think August is going to be more of an issue for things, but so far we're making it work I think.

Sometimes being an adult sucks, doesn't it?

I have a feeling #1 is going to win out. Especially if you've already booked the hotel.

It really does suck to be a grown up sometimes.

And yes, #1 is the choice I have the strongest feelings towards. It's not ideal, but I need to spend some time at Faire because there's only one other day I can go to Faire this summer and I'm taking my niece.

I would lean towards option 1. You might not get in everything you wanted to do at the faire, but you'd still get to do a lot of it. And you can get the cupcakes out of the way.

I hope you have fun, whatever you decide!

Tough decisions are tough. But it would be a shame to cancel the whole trip...

I am going for option 1 unless something else gets fucked up.

Agreed. I'm going to go with option 1.

1 to IMO
First the duty and then the fun. You are both young, you can do it ^_^

I'd go for option 1, one day is better than none. :)

I think you've already decided on 1, but go 1!

Life is more than weddings, and if nothing else, you need a break where nobody's asking about cupcakes. (I have a friend who broke after 3 hours talking about decorative napkins, and she never really made it back into the bridal vibe after that...)
