Hope you're all having a great Saturday.

Mine has been enjoyable so far. I browsed the internet for awhile this morning and when Nick woke up, we went out for breakfast at the Red Apple. I had the ham and cheese skillet with cinnamon swirl bread. The cinnamon swirl bread is a new addition to their menu and I guess they also do a French toast with it. I'm definitely going to have to try that.

After breakfast, I went to the mall. I ended up returning the heels from the recent dress/shoe poll. Nick and I both agreed that I did not look comfortable in those. He also thought they resembled Hannibal Lector's face mask, but that's another story. :P The flats naturally were handled with ease. I found three luxe touch short-sleeve shirts and two tank tops at Banana Republic that I liked. I also got three of these from Old Navy in blue, pink, and green for $3 each.

When I got home, Nick and I went for a three mile walk in the absolutely gorgeous weather. I love it when I can convince my husband to get out of the house with me. :P

In a few short hours, we're going to Suzy's Steakhouse for a surprise birthday party. Should be an all around good day.

That does sound like a lovely day, especially the three mile walk. :)

I hope you had fun at the party!

We did dishes and laundry and gave the girls their weekly bath and brush. Then we went to Texas Roadhouse for a verra yummy dinner and after that we did a little grocery shopping.

Basically we did our usual Sunday stuff today so we can enjoy the ballgame tomorrow.

It was great until my husband told me I had a flat tire. We had to put the doughnut on it and drive it Wal-Mart tire and lube. Luckily they got a new tire put on in 45 minutes.

We had an awesome time at the party! There was very yummy food. I had a filet mignon and a baked sweet potato with cinnamon butter.

We were mildly delayed though by me getting a flat tire, but Wal-Mart did a decent job getting me fixed up and on my way.

Sounds like a productive Saturday! Hope the game goes well for ya! I know the Rockies kicked the Brewers ass last week. :/

Awwww, they are gone now, but if they weren't comfortable, you made the right choice.

Groovy. :)

Well, that sucks, but I'm glad WallyWorld got you fixed up quickly.

Those tank tops, btw, look comfy and adorable.

It was. I will have an awesome time if my head would kindly quit hurting. Well, ya know, being a Cubs fan I'm all for the Brew Crew getting beat. :p Sorry!

Me too. I would have preferred going to Portage tire, but they close at noon on Saturdays.

The tank tops are definitely great.

The t-shirts I got are super soft as well. I couldn't find a picture though.

*giggles*
It's fine. We're still friends. :P
