Excellent Anniversary Weekend :)
Dec. 2nd, 2007 07:27 pmThe boy and I had a super anniversary weekend despite the less than stellar weather conditions.
Friday night I got there and we decided to go out for fish fry. I had stuffed shrimp and he had the perch and they were both super good. Then we went to the store to get some food stuff for Saturday since the weather was predicting really bad snow and we headed home to watch the new Futurama movie "Bender's Big Score." It was excellent and I think I'm going to have to get my own copy.
Saturday, we woke up and it was snowing but not bad enough to prevent us from visiting our Saturday standard restaurant. I got crepes and they were huge! I was only able to eat like one and a half of the three they gave me. Then we drove home and the weather had gotten worse so we watched the film I Heart Huckabees (which was kinda weird but good in an existentialism sort of way). We went for a walk which was chilly and then we made a pizza and watched "Run Lola Run" which is another movie that he owns.
Today, we got Mexican food. I got a Taco Salad and it rocked and then we went home and watched some episodes of Top Gear. Ultimately, a very relaxing weekend that I'm sad to see end.
And as you can plainly see, I didn't back down to what my sisters wanted from me. I got them to reschedule. :)
