SurfTheChannel is mean!
Oct. 2nd, 2008 11:47 pmSo surfthechannel.com had this announcement up for about the last week or so saying that when they hit their first birthday on Sept. 1st...they would shutting down operations.
I was upset about this because I've come to depend on the site for full television episodes of things like the Big Bang Theory because their parent companies (*cough*CBS*cough*) fail to show the episodes off their website...either that or their players are so bad that it's not worth trying to watch the show. (I've heard that CBS is screwing the Mac users although I don't know if it's all of them).
Well, I went there today and guess what...it was a mean, old joke they played to scare people.
I'm proud of them for making their site legitimate and they have struck deals with major broadcasters to post links to stuff too.
At least I can catch the first season of "Burn Notice" now! FTW!
