I am utterly and hopelessly hooked on True Blood now. I like their approach to vampires, the edgy darkness, the witty lines, the addicting side characters, and of course, the smut sure ain't hurting my interest one bit!
It will probably shock no one that my interest is particularly piqued by Eric. He's cocky, arrogant, and freaking hot. Reminds me a bit of Angelus with the power stuff and the way he makes Bill cower.
I also love the fuck out of Lafayette, Tara, and Pam. I think they're just the bee's knees and I'm happy that their characters continues to be developed. And Arlene, Sam, and Rene aren't so bad either :)
As it was with Buffy, I don't have an awful lot of interest in the main pairing, Bill/Sookie, but I guess its nice enough and to his credit, Stephen Moyer brings more life to Bill than Charlaine Harris does in the books.
Sadly, it looks like there's no release date for Season 2 DVD set so I'm hoping I can find a decent stream of it online...or something else *wink*.
In other news...I was graciously surprised by the notification I received today that two of my stories had been nominated at the Willowy Goodness Awards . Change The Addiction is up for Best Willow/Spike Author, Best Willow/Spike Fic, Best NC-17 and Turnabout was nominated for Best Vamp Willow characterization.
