01. Discuss how you got into Harry Potter and why you still love it?

I remember being on a bus heading towards Noah's Ark (the waterpark) with my church and sitting next to my best friend Rachel. In front of us, her sister Sarah was reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I asked Sarah if I could look at her book and decided that it sounded interesting enough to try. My mom got me the first three books for Christmas that year and I devoured them. It wasn't long before my mom and I joined in the madness that was rushing to the bookstore on opening day to find the next one.

I still love it because even at 25 years old, those books still carry magic for me. I've re-read each one (with the exception of book 7 for some reason), I've participated in the fandom in various ways (most notably, Plano Hogwarts, which is sadly dying now), and I've even purchased a few W-Rock CDS (most notably, Draco and the Malfoys).
