It's been a good weekend so far. Last night, I had the house to myself (Nick had to work late) so I got Chinese take-out and watched Morning Glory. I was quite pleased by how much I enjoyed the film, though it wasn't nearly as good (not that I should compare genres, of course) as the one I saw today.
The movie I speak of is none other than Fast Five.
I was seriously impressed by the pace, action, excitement, and general awesomeness that oozed from every pore of this film. I did get teary-eyed once though. (Highlight for spoilers: It happened when that stupid Dwayne Johnson crashed into the 1970 Dodge Charger. Not cool, dude. Not cool.
For those of you who haven't seen it yet, but plan to...I have one thing to say. There's a hidden clip after the "fancy" credits finish rolling. Make sure to say for it!
Finally, since this is the last day of April and therefore the last day of National Poetry month, I will share a haiku I just came up with.
Cops and robbers in
fast cars, transform me into
a squeeing fan girl.
