A stream of recent posts on Tumblr inspired me to place Boy Meets World in my Netflix queue. The first disc of Season 1 came yesterday and I watched the first four episodes. Oh happy '90's nostaligia! I'm going to finish the disc tonight and get it in the mail asap to ensure quick turn-around on disc 2.

In other news, I was contacted by a place I'd applied to back in early May. Apparently, they'd done first and second interviews for the position already, had been left with some concerns, and decided to explore their "maybe" pile. I was one of three applicants that had made that pile.

To their credit, they're willing to offer full-time and benefits, but the commute was just too much (~2 hours one way), especially since I've got a lock with the Pauquette Center now. Also, their ideal candidate was someone who's close to licensure or someone who is licensed and right now, I'm neither.

That said, the lady really seemed to be taken with me so she's keeping my resume on file. Apparently, they do work closer to where I live so there might be a possibility for a different position somewhere down the road.

I can safely say I'm not too bummed though...because I report to the Pauquette Center in less than two days!!
