Given that a majority of my fiction centers around Willow Rosenberg (and anyone who's anyone on my flist knows of my obsession with her), I'm going to say that there's really no contest when it comes to my muse. Willow is such a dynamic character and there are so many levels to play with. She doesn't exactly push her way into other stories though.
Other characters that have found themselves in the muse role are Angelus and Lily. Angelus tends to crop up in my mind whenever I need to deal with dark, twisty things. And Lily (of How I Met Your Mother fame) tends to crop up as my muse when I want to write kinky lust (in the case of Barney/Lily) or frisky romance (in the case of Marshall/Lily.)
