6 – When you write, do you prefer writing male or female characters?

Generally speaking, I find women easier. I think that stems from the fact that I am a woman and have such only viewed the world from those glasses. That said, I can't really say I struggle writing males either. If I did, I'd never be able to write slash. :P

So the fanfiction meme (and myself) will be taking a brief hiatus from LJ as Nick and I are headed out of town tomorrow morning and won't be back until Monday night. As always, I'll do my best to catch up when I get back, but if you post something you think I would find important, please share the link.

In other news, I marched in a parade today with the Democratic Party folks that I've been rocking with these last few months. The man I've been campaigning for even managed to join us so that made it twice as awesome. Plus, he demonstrated that he's got great people skills because he was constantly scooting back and forth across the street to talk to people and shake their hands. The Republican Senator (aka the incumbent) was also present, but he walked behind his car and just waved to the crowd. (Or he did until my friend, Paula, called him over and said I wanted to talk to him. I was a little annoyed with her for that, but at least I got to say I disagreed with him in person.)

After the parade, we capped off the evening with fireworks. Unfortunately, this seems to be causing my head to hurt so I'm gonna go take care of that now.

Later gators.

Happy 4th of July!
