It's The Little Things

I had to travel to the Baraboo DVR office to provide coverage to clients who used to see Lisa, but now are in transition into a new counselor is hired. I admit I wasn't looking forward to the 30 minute drive. It had snowed and sleeted last night and although it looked like nothing stuck to the roads, one can never be sure, you know?

Anyway, the roads ended up being just fine and I made it there safely. I did have a nice surprise when I walked into the coffee shop, ordered my drink (a Gingerbread Man Chai with skim milk, nutmeg, and cinnamon), and was informed that there was no charge because someone had generously paid-it-forward.

It definitely made me thankful for the little things.
