Today

[snogged]

I had my first class today (Counseling Across the Lifespan) and it sounds interesting. I was happy that I recognized so many faces from my classes last semester. We have a ton of reading to do though. I haven't started on it yet but I plan to devote at least an hour to it tonight.

What I was not expecting today was coming home to find out that actor Heath Ledger had been found dead. I feel stunned and shocked. I've loved him ever since I saw "Ten Things I Hate About You." Hollywood has truly suffered a great loss today. And it was amazing to see how lit up my flist was with reports on his death.

man i was at work and saw that on the news about heath ledger (i JUST saw him in that bob dylan movie, which was SOSOSO good btw)
one of the residents at my work was like "heath who?"
resident #2: "that guy from brokeback mountain"
resident #1: "oh, thaaaat's why he killed himself"

i was pretty pissed about that comment. but i couldn't say anything about it, because it's not such a good idea to get into confrontations with people at my work (for a lot of reasons, not least of all that most of their mental illnesses involve mood disorders with psychotic features)
