Title: Fluke

Pairing or Main Characters: Willow/Xander

Willow ran her fingers across the smooth fabric of his tuxedo and she fiddled with his tie.
“It's a good thing I realized I was gay, otherwise, hey, you, me and formal wear....” Willow said, softly, feeling oddly hideous in the bright green monstrosity Anya had stuck her in. She had intended it as a joke but there was a part of her that wanted to kiss him with crushing, passionate force. The fluke they had a few years ago had meant everything to her. Xander had always been her best friend, the man she loved above all else.
“Willow,” Xander said, cupping her chin. Their eyes locked and Willow’s breath hitched. He pressed his lips to hers in a gentle kiss. “The formal wear had nothing to do with it.”
“Xander, we can’t. I’m gay, you’re getting married.”
“Doesn’t mean I don’t want too.” Their lips met once more as if to say goodbye for the last time.
“I love you, Will.”
“I love you too.”
