This may make me sound like a girl child, but my cheer-up movie is Ice Princess, starring Michelle Trachtenberg and Joan Cusack. I know that plenty of the physics is wrong. I know that it's cliched, cutesy fluff. And I don't care.

Other go-to movies for anxiety/depression include: Legally Blonde, Mean Girls, and Can't Hardly Wait.

Movies don't have to be intellectually sturdy to be worthwhile. If it cheers you up, it's a good flicker.

I saw Ice Princess in the theatre! It wasn't exactly mentally stimulating, but it was fun.

And Legally Blonde is one of my favorite movies ever. And not even ironically.

Mine is "The Princess Bride". It can always cheer me up, I'm a sucker for happy endings and I love the humour in it. :)

And I don't know why, but I often come out with this line, I'm weird I know. LOL!

"Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

Maybe because I love the way Mandy patinkin says it.

Hee, cheesy is the point! I don't know if I have any in particular; I only myself own a handful of movies that aren't "tha family's" and those are generally all my favorite feel-goods. :)

I like Ice Princess. And Legally Blonde was a lot better than I thought it would be. :)

Ice Princess is just so darn cute and I always get teary-eyed at the end when she does her performance.

You and I could totally Un-depress together!

I'm a big fan of Stick It when I'm depressed. Clueless, Ghostbusters... etc.

Stick It, Clueless, and Ghostbusters are all wonderful movies too. I really need to get those added to my repertoire.

(And I hope you noticed my recent attempt at un-depressing fandom - Mission X got updated this week :))
