Please go rot in a special hell.

Sniffling and sneezing all day long is a whole world of not fun and I won't take meds because I don't like what Benedryl does to me (outside of taking it before bed) and I don't think Claritin works all that well.

Signed,

The management.

So sorry hun, I tried to look up an aromatherapy solution for you but there wasn't one in the book I have. It said to see your local aromatherapist. Not very helpful. I guess it has to be blended for the specific person or something.

The only common thing that all the allergy type things in the book had in common was chamomile. Maybe that will help. ????

as soon as i get some cash, i wanna get a neti pot.

i tried those Alavert under-the tongue sublingual tablets, but i had to take like 3 or 4 to work and then i felt funny. there isn't a decent med out there (plus my intestinal system is short, so i can't take anything time/extended/slow release).

Amen. Bendryl makes me catatonic. It's harvest season here which means lots and lots of lovely allergenic dust.

I guess it couldn't hurt to try. Do they recommend using it as a tea or as potpourri?

I'm not sure how I feel about neti pots...only because I'm not sure waterboarding myself is the answer.

It's harvest season here as well. Plus, ragweed is atrocious.

It seems somewhat better today, but we'll see what gets stirred up outside with the rain today and how it affects me.

it's a guarantee they'll be gone after the first frost. I just have to hold out for that!

They would have been talking about using the essential oil... usually heating it and inhaling the fumes. So more like the potpourri.

Hopefully it helps if you go that route.
