1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Graduated with a Master's degree. Moved in with my boyfriend. Worked as an office temp in a factory.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I really don't think I made any. But I intend to read at least 50 books and complete my young adult novel by the end of 2011.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes. My boyfriend's sister gave birth to a cutie named Della and my cousin Jenny gave birth to a sweetie named Logan.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My grandpa did.
5. What countries did you visit?
I didn't leave the US.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
I would like to have a more substantial income.
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 15th - The day I graduated and moved in with Nick.
December 29th - The day the Pauquette Center called to tell me they were going to employ me as a therapist in their day treatment facility.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a job in my field. Passing the National Counselor's Exam.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not applying for jobs earlier (i.e. before I graduated).
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had bronchitis and I'm just getting over a cold.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My subscription to Entertainment Weekly is certainly fun.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
The US government's decision to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The US government's decision not to pass the DREAM act and the mid-term elections that provided us with scary, closed-minded bigots.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent and food. Followed by bills, trip to Minocqua, books, and Christmas presents.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Passing the NCE and getting a job in my field.
16. What song will always remind you of 2010?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier, but with some definite anxiety attached for various reasons.
ii. thinner or fatter? mmmm, I'm not exactly sure...let's just say I have more muscles.
iii. richer or poorer? Poorer in finances.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Seeing more of my friends and reading.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Waiting. One should not have to wait for 2 1/2 months just to hear the word no (PS. I didn't even get my rejection letter from the Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation until December. Four weeks AFTER I got them to email me an answer.)
20. How did you spend Christmas?
I spent it with family. Mom's side on Christmas Eve. Dad's side on Christmas day.
21. Did you fall in love in 2010?
Didn't have to fall. I've been in love with the same man for seven years.
22. How many one-night stands?
None.
23. What was your favourite TV program?
Lost Girl, Leverage
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Not that I can think of.
25. What was the best book you read?
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls, The Mummy At The Dining Room Table: Eminent Therapists Reveal Their Most Unusual Cases.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
One Girl Revolution by Superchick

A job in my field.

An engagement ring. :P

How To Train Your Dragon, Toy Story 3, Black Swan, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part One .

I turned 25. I saw Shrek: The Final Chapter and ate a most delicious eel dish at Ginza of Tokyo (Japanese restaurant).
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Making more friends in the town I moved to. Having more friends come see me.
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Business casual. :D
32. What kept you sane?
Livejournal and all my online friends. Ren Faire. Nick. Sabrina. Deb.
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Alyson Hannigan and Ian Somerhalder.
34. What political issue stirred you the most?
Equal rights for same-sex partners.
35. Who did you miss?
the PSSO gang, Loki, my grad school/Whitewater friend circle, etc.

I got to meet
