1. Make a list of 5 things that are in reach:
Stapler, my Power-Packer mug with tea inside it, my keys, my cell phone, box of tissues
2. What is your favourite holiday?
I’ve always been fond of Halloween/Samhain. The air is always so crisp and cool, the leaves are the perfect shades of reds, yellows, and oranges, and the costumes are so much fun.
3. What is one item of clothing you wish you could always wear?
My purple scarf that I purchased pretty much at the last-minute before leaving Dublin, Ireland.
4. What do you plan to do after this meme?
Work some more.
5. What are you listening to right now?
The muffled strains of country music currently playing on the factory floor. I forgot my iPod today and we don’t really listen to music here in the office. :/
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
My boyfriend. It was right before bed last night and it was one of those bear hugs that squeezes out all the stress of the day.
7. What random song just popped in your head now?
“Loser Like Me” – The Glee Cast.
8. What did you do today?
Got up, got dressed, checked my email and Livejournal. Then, I scraped the snow and ice off my car, filled up my gas tank, drove to the 100 mile mark on the Interstate, and pulled off into a gas station. I called my dad, freaked out about the weather because it’s two weeks to the day since my accident and I felt like I was doing all the same things today as I did that day. My dad boosted my confidence and I managed to finish the drive to work. At work, I’ve put stickers on work orders, laminated about 75 sheets of paper, and am now working on a data entry project.
9. What was the last text message you received?
Erin: Sorry I just woke up. John stayed home. No ides how bad roads are.
10. What websites do you always visit when you go online?
G-mail, Livejournal, Facebook.
11. What is your next big planned purchase?
A 2005 Chevy Cavalier. Though most of that will be paid for with the insurance money I got for my totaled car.
12. Late riser or early bird?
Work makes me an early bird, but my preference is late rise.
13. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Working with adolescents and families in a kick-ass counseling agency (most likely the private practice that Margo, Sabrina, Nicole, and I are going to start once we get our licenses.) I also see myself married to Nick and living in a house instead of an apartment.
14. Which languages do you want to learn?
Spanish, Italian, American Sign Language
15. What are you doing this weekend?
Going to the Badger Club Knife Show with Nick and his dad on Saturday. Will probably write and watch Criminal Minds on Sunday (I’m halfway through Season 3 now.)
16. Are there any movies in the theatre you'd like to see at the moment?
I’d like to see Paul, Beastly, and The Adjustment Bureau. But I’m not sure I can talk Nick into seeing them while they’re in the theatre. He prefers to rent.
17. What's the one thing you need the most now?
A confidence boost.
18. Are you a creeper?
No. I’m just weird. :P
19. What was the last thing you ate?
A slightly cold doughnut from Kwik Trip. I left it in my car when I went into work, retrieved it on break.
20. Do you like POTATOES?
I DO! (see I can yell too, meme!) Sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, French fries, Tater Tots, mashed potatoes, garlic potatoes, red potatoes, Twice-Baked potatoes, cheesy potatoes, scalloped potatoes. Can you tell I like potatoes yet or shall I continue?
