Prompt: Scary
Rage and fury bubbled within him as he landed a safe distance from the amusement park. He couldn’t believe that his own fucking friend had betrayed him. He couldn’t believe that bitch was still ruining every. single. plan. He glanced across the street and saw the perfect solution right in front of his nose.
He entered the store and the clerk looked up at him. “What can I help you with?”
“I need a gun.” Warren rasped; staring at the weapons locked safely behind glass. It was scary how simple killing the Slayer would be. He saw the one he wanted and pointed to it. “How ‘bout that one?”
The clerk nodded and pulled a small black handgun out of the case. “Excellent choice sir. This here’s a Glock 22. It has a 15 round magazine capacity.”
Warren took the gun and held it. It felt good, better than he ever could have expected. He felt all his frustrations channeling into that gun and he felt connected in a way that scared him a little. This is what it all came down to. This was how he was going to prove he was worthy of the title super-villain. “I’ll take it.”
The exchange was made and Warren walked out the door, tucking the gun into his pants pocket. It was amazing to think that the once shy, geeky nerd was going to become the Slayer’s worst nightmare. That bitch was gonna pay.
