Calloused fingers rub the aching erection, brushing over the ridges and contours with a gentle stroke. Hammer watches the Doctor’s eyes close and his hand moves faster, eliciting testosterone fueled groans and breathy sighs.
It’s a trick that works. Reminds them of the connection they still share despite Penny’s death. They wouldn’t know each other like this if it hadn’t been for Penny’s presence in their lives. She connected them in more ways than she ever could have realized.
They both knew that it took them months to get here. Months to realize that they hadn’t been left with nothing. Months to realize that they needed each other in ways arch rivals aren’t supposed to fathom.
Because being with each other was more than nothing. It was everything.
