It FINALLY happened.

I got my Pottermore Welcome Letter so I'm now an official beta tester.

My user name is RuneStorm6 and I was sorted into Slytherin. Although I've always identified with the Slytherin house (and the Ravenclaw house), I really wasn't sure I'd get in based on the sorting hat questions and stuff. I'm happy though. :)

For those who are on the site currently and for those who are still waiting, please comment here with your usernames so we can be friends. If we are already friends, feel free to remind me who you are so I can give you a nickname.

Well, if you were accepted as a beta tester back in July then you have early access to the site. Otherwise, you need to wait until October to sign up.

In terms of what it is...it's a site set up by JK Rowling to make the Potter magic continue.

Pottermore is an interactive site designed by JKR to continue the magic of Harry Potter (and be a place to sell the books for e-reader editions).

It's currently in beta-test right now and the beta testers were chosen during the first week of August after they completed a scavenger hunt successfully.

It will be open to the public in October.

Seeing as how I managed to acquire 4 green and silver scarves that Christmas, I'm particularly pleased by that as well.

My years at Plano Hogwarts taught me the importance of House Unity so no worries, babe. I let my house colors run. :P
