Fandom Snowflake Challenge Day 6

I know I haven't been keeping up with this one, but I'm a fair-weather fan so I'm going to do this day's challenge.

Day 6

In your own space, rec at least 3 fanworks you thought you wouldn't like (because they weren't your fandom or they pushed against your boundaries or you thought you just wouldn't be interested) and that you ended up loving.



1. And All The Saints Were Dragons by velvetwhip
I generally avoid Kennedy fics, though I've read a few written by very close friends of mine. I think this fic stands out for me because of it's power. I felt like Kennedy herself was demanding I plop my butt down and read the story she had to say here. I'm quite glad that I did. It was well worth the trip.

2. War Song by snowpuppies
I realize that Snowy already got a rec, but dammit, she wrote Veruca/Willow and I totally dug it. Totally.

3. Anything Spander that whichclothes writes. I was never sold on this pairing or really, on Xander, for that matter until whichclothes came along. She does really amazing work with them and tends to set her fics out aways from canon so that makes for some interesting adventures outside Sunnydale too.
