Taste of Heaven
Feb. 13th, 2012 06:31 pmI'm pretty sure I stumbled upon the best damn invention in the ice cream universe. That is to say: I tried a peanut butter malt at Culver's today.
Oh. Em. Gee.
It was brilliant, guys and gals. Purely brilliant.
Nom Nom Nom!
In other news, I finished the second disc of Dr. Who (9th Doctor) this weekend and I continue to enjoy it. Rose is still my favorite character and I found the introduction to the Daleks quite intriguing. I'll probably be putting the Doctor on hold for a bit though as I've decided to do a full re-watch of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I already finished the first disc of Season 1 so yay me and stuff. :)
1. I have a soft spot for Darla, though it seems to be that she doesn't really come off as a character that the Master would have sired. She actually seems rather dippy to start off with and of course, the fact that she nibbles on Jesse and admits it earns her no favors.
2. Luke was an idiot. I'm surprised he lived as long as he did.
3. Buffy is totally adorable and I'm finding myself feeding into the Bangel love again, especially the leather jacket moment in "Teacher's Pet."
4. I hated "Teacher's Pet." That episode makes the feminist in me cringe. That said, the Xander called Angel "a very handsome guy" and focusing on Angel's buff-ness (while Willow pretends not to notice that) is an amusing touch. (Also, Willow pointing out the scantily clad cheerleaders in bendy postures to Xander during "The Witch" was also an amusing touch.)
5. Joyce is such an amusing parent. Her attempts to connect with Buffy are a bit laughable, but they're still so sweet.
6. I miss Dr. Gregory. For a character that was only on screen for three minutes...he kinda rocked.

on 2012-02-14 04:16 am (UTC)But I can't say I'd be as quick to forgive Xander if he insulted me the way he did Willow or if he had attempted to assault me the way he did Buffy.
