My profile looks gorgeous and it's all thanks to [livejournal.com profile] rua1412, [livejournal.com profile] velvetwhip, [livejournal.com profile] shakensilence, [livejournal.com profile] blondebitz, [livejournal.com profile] aaronlisa, [livejournal.com profile] niki1988, [livejournal.com profile] novemberrain007, [livejournal.com profile] spike7451, [livejournal.com profile] spikesredqueen, and [livejournal.com profile] angelskuuipo! You all make my day each and every day. :)

In other Snogged-ly news, I attended a conference on Personality Disorders today and it was quite intriguing. My favorite part was probably the visual representations (i.e. cartoons, clinical interviews, and clips from movies), but I also liked that the speaker knew how to pace everything and added things to his slideshow presentation that made the message all the more interesting to hear. I also wound up getting three of his resource guides (one on personality disorders, one on the major mental illnesses, and one on psychiatric and alternative medications.

I also got a chance to go to Barnes and Noble today and wound up spending some money (but not much though since I had a gift card.) I picked up Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green & David Leviathan and We Need To Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver. I'm looking forward to giving both a try.

Also...I'm going to straight up ask this, can anyone recommend a book that has a decent plot but also has some nummy porn/lusty elements to it? I'm in the mood for one (preferably heterosexual, but I'm open to m/m and f/f too.) :P

Thanks for the tip.
I'll have to track down the first one. Hopefully, it's at the library.

I've read a few books by David Levithan and love him!

I'm glad your conference was so interesting today!! And it's always nice to get away from the office.

Cool!
I've read a few books by John Green and I adore him so I imagine that book will be awesome.

It was quite nice being away from the office. Not looking forward to missed messages and emails though.

Yay for books and a good seminar!

I recommend pretty much anything by Linda Howard, especially: Dream Man, Now You See Her, and Mr. Perfect. All of which are available on Kindle. :)

Unfortunately, they run about the same as the actual book. I think they're around $7.99.

I know you can pick up paperbacks at used book stores for much, much less.

I'm reading The Fault in Our Stars by John Green right now. :)

I've enjoyed everything I've read by Cherise Sinclair. And I liked Smooth Talking Stranger, too. I'm not much of a romance reader, so they have to have decent plot for me to like them at all.
