Nick and I aren't big gum chewers in the slightest, but a few weeks ago we started chatting about old commercial jingles and now the Big Red jingle won't leave my head. Of course, if you're reading this, I've likely become successful at my goal of getting it suck in your head too. :P
In other news, I've been reading this really neat book called Some Girls: My Life In A Harem by Jillian Lauren. It's her memoirs so I assume that it's true. She's an actress/escort by trade and she lands a "job" as a harem girl for the prince of Brunei. It's positively fascinating and reminds me a bit of the Women's Studies capstone project I did on sex workers and feminism.
I used some personal time and left work at 1:30 today, which was super nice. It makes me feel even more excited about having the 16th of April off in honor of Nick's birthday.
Finally, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter. I get to meet the latest addition to Nick's sister's family (Nora Grey, who was just born at the end of February) for the first time. I'm very excited about that and I'm sure there will be pictures.

Nora is an absolute cutie. She cuddled with me for a bit on Saturday, but mostly she just slept.
