#3. I've read the pairing because a certain author has written it and I will admit that those authors can do the pairing justice. But it's never enough to sway me.

#4. It's a comedy. Keeps me amused. The lead couple (see above) is very on and off again and I just don't see it.

A good friend of ours told Nick and I that we remind him of Amy and Rory. So yes...I like Amy Pond and she was the first companion to come to mind because of the connection my friend made.

Donna Noble is also cool.

It's funny, because you always strike me as very 'girl power' and I tend to shy away from that. And so it's a little surprising to me that you wouldn't fall for the Who companion that was all about Strong Women.

Well, I was a women's studies minor in college and I do tend to read feminist blogs and frequently tend to vote for politicians who protect women's choice.

I can't help the fact that the question only asked for one favorite character from each of the fandoms.

Finally, I should clarify that I am still fairly new to the Who fandom. In terms of coherent viewing, I've technically only seen through Series 2 of the new Doctor.

The Amy Pond and Donna Noble episodes that I've seen were because I was hanging out with my friend and he didn't want to go backwards in his viewing while I was visiting him.

I have to say that I feel grateful that I've gotten to know the people in both of my major fandoms (BtVS/AtS and How I Met Your Mother.)
