9 years and Counting

I'm just going to start by saying that this has been a really great weekend so far.
For a little background, Nick and I have been navigating the world of boyfriend-girlfriend coupledom for nine years today.
Last night, we decided we'd go out for a nice dinner at Smokey's Steakhouse and I had a delicious Peanut Butter Cup ice cream/alcoholic drink to start the night. I ordered an 8 oz. fillet mignon and it came with a salad, clam chowder soup (which was surprisingly not super creamy), a relish dish, bread, and French Fries.
The steak was utterly divine. It was cooked exactly right and just about melted like butter under my steak knife (Apologies to my vegetarian/vegan friends to the descriptions.)
I asked Nick if we could stop at the video store on our way home and he agreed. We picked up a copy of The Adjustment Bureau with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt and headed for home.
When we arrived home, I asked if he wanted to start the film right away and he said we should wait a little bit so I booted up the computer and started checking emails and Facebook.
A few minutes into this, Nick announced: "Since it's our anniversary, I got you a little something."
Now, this was a bit odd because Nick and I have long established that we'll just do a combined "big" present for each other for our anniversary and Christmas instead of two small things.
Of course, he chose that moment to pull out a ring box.
My response: "Is that what I think it is? Is that what I think it is?"
Followed by tears.
Nick said: "Yes."
I kissed him and said: "Yes."
I am now a fiancee, you guys!
