I figured it was time for an update on all things [livejournal.com profile] snogged.

1) Currently reading: Bared To You: A Crossfire Novel by Sylvia Day. The writing is good, but the story isn't so great. I also started my book for book club last night called: The Georgetown Ladies' Social Club: Power, Passion, and Politics in the Nation's Capital by C. David Heymann. It appears to feature ladies from the Reagan-era and I'm sorely unfamiliar so I feel a bit confused and not entirely sure yet why I should care about this book.

2) Current wellness plan: Zumba and Party and Pump classes. I go three times a week and I'm loving it. :) I also love that I'm making new friends.

3) Current work status: Work is crazy as always, but I'm managing just fine.

4) Current wedding planning: It's going slowly. I think with the wedding not happening until September of 2014, I'm not really feeling the push to really knock things out yet. I'm sure it will happen in time though.

5) Current exciting news: My daddy passed his electrician's exam!!!! After months of studying hard, he got an 84% on a 50 question test. I'm so proud. :)

I'm glad you're having fun with the exercise classes and making friends!

I'm also glad work is going alright, even if it is crazy.

I wish you luck with the wedding plans.

Yay for your dad! That's great news. :)

Is he leaving the theater biz, or just supplementing it?

My dad does theater as a volunteer. He doesn't get paid for it. His full-time job is still at the radio station and than he's got a small business on the side called Dick's Electric. As part of the new requirements for electricians, he had take the exam to keep his license.

Huh, I knew the musicals were volunteer work but I figured he did work that he got paid for as well. Well, grats on passing the test :)

I've been trying to get recordings of the musicals for a while, have had very little luck.

I feel for you. I had 3 years to plan my wedding. Ugh, the monotony of repeating to people over and over again, that "no, I had not picked the flowers yet as it was still 2 years away", etc.

Yea, for Zumba - sounds like fun!

I'm not a fan of the wedding planning questions, but I'm not quite at monotony levels yet.

Zumba is great. :)
