Eventful Weekend

snoggedFor my own sanity, I'm doing this in bullet points:
Friday-
1) Went to the wine bar in town and celebrated one my Zumba instructors birthdays. It was neat getting to hang out with people without exercise clothes. It was also neat that Nick got to meet them too.
2) Got home and crashed.
Saturday-
1) Nick woke up with a tooth infection. Had to wait FOREVER to find out if we were going to a dentist or not. Instead, they just prescribed an anti-inflammatory and we were able to pick it up at the Walgreen's in town.
2) Participated in a 30 minute Zumba demo at St. Mary's Best Fest. We were on a slight incline so it was little tippy...but it was fun!
3) Drove to Nick's mom's house and got dinner at the Speakeasy. I had the best Asiago Chicken Pasta ever!! The martini, on the other hand, really messed with me and I only had one. I know I don't drink that much, but seriously, it was frustrating. At least, the feelings went away after an hour or so.
4) Got home and crashed.
Sunday-
1) Woke up, drove to Middleton, and joined friends in an adventure to the Janesville Ren Faire. I got a new hairpiece, a mocha gelato frappe (yum!), saw a few Bristol friends, and watched a fire show.
2) Went to Olive Garden, got flirted with by the server, got both my iced tea and raspberry lemonade comped so I'm not complaining. Our server also did magic tricks, which was actually quite entertaining. I was not completely thrilled with my Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad though. The chicken tasted pretty bland, but the lettuce and croutons were good.
3) Went to Star Trek: Into Darkness and enjoyed it. Every time I saw Zachary Quinto (Spock), my instinct was to think: 'Hey, I hugged that guy last year.'
4) Got home and crashed.
