My First LapTop

I have owned a PC desktop computer for slightly over 10 years. It's the computer my parents bought me as a graduation gift before college. It still bears the two teal ribbon stickers in the corners from my days on the e-board of Students Against Sexual Violence. It's a computer that has been struck by lightning, plagued by viruses, and has a laughable amount of RAM. With the help of my dad, my friends Kit and Steve, and fiance, this computer has been brought back from the edge over and over and over again.

So why change?

Well, some old girls deserve to go into retirement without dying first.... :D Except not really, because I don't plan on getting rid of the PC. I'm just adding a laptop to the family of electronics in our house.

With Nick's help, I did my research and found a refurbished MacBook Pro that I think will suit my needs perfectly. It's been a dream of mine to own one ever since I first played around on Nick's MacBook Pro so I'm pretty stoked about it.

I'm definitely looking forward to playing around it more this weekend and Nick's going to help with the install stuff.

I'm super excited!
