snoggedToday, Nick and I celebrated a year of marriage...by doing exactly what we normally do on dates like this.
I woke up, made coffee, and gave him a card.
Then, I went swimming and shopping with my friend and her kids. It was a nice way to escape some of the heat today.
My mom and dad stopped by on their way home from a wedding in Eagle River and we had a nice chat.
For dinner, Nick and I went to Cimmaroli's. I had the flat iron steak. He had the rib-eye. It was very tasty.
Now, our plan is to drink a little champagne and watch Orange Is The New Black (we're only on season 1, so no spoilers please.)
