Day 09

In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

1) Read at least 55 books for the Goodreads Reading Challenge / participate in my library's book challenge.

2) Participate in [livejournal.com profile] whichwillow, [livejournal.com profile] iwry_marathon, and add [livejournal.com profile] cof_remix

3) Continue being a Zumba addict.

These sound awfully good - is there something like a book discussion group at the library?

And #3 sounds heavenly. It's great fun to shake hands with your endorphins.

Reading is a goal that I make every year. I usually manage 55-60 books. My library has a challenge going for reading different types of books like a book of short stories,a book on the bottom of your to-read list, etc. You enter slips for each book read and there is a drawing at the end of the month.

Continue being an addict? *laughs* very challenging. I'm guesstimating zumba is some sort of exercise.

The reading one sounds good. ;-)

I still read a lot-but less and less books. I'm trying to do a Goodreads reading challenge this year. Mostly so that I can track what I'm reading. Some weeks three books, some weeks none.

Any non-fiction, non autobiography book recs?

Absolutely!

"The Magician's Lie" by Greer McAllister was one of my favorite reads last year.

The "Dorothy Must Die" series by Danielle Paige.

"One Kick" by Chelsea Cain. It's the first in the Kick Lannigan series and it has a strong female character.
