Faire and Driving

So I've been discovering how lucky I really was to have onikonekodrive me to Faire whenever I could go last year.

This year, I've had less of an easy time of it.

There are three more weekends left of Faire and the only one I'm guaranteed to be at is closing weekend.

I'd love to come this Sunday but my parents just got back from their vacation in Montana and they insist that I spend time with them so they've claimed me for Saturday but I could possible sneak out on Sunday. The problem with that, however, is that I need to get my tires fixed as the tread is becoming non-existant. The only real way I could get to Faire on Sunday is if I can get a ride from someone and I'm feeling like that's an unlikely possibility.

I might be able to be there on August 25th but that is only if I can convince Nick and Kit to go as I will be spending Nick's five days off with him and August 25th falls in that category.

But I will be there closing weekend with absolute certainty and for all three days if I can help it.

So my request to the member of my Rennie family is that you send my love to all those who are not on my LJ list like Kat (the pretty blonde one with the black leather corset), Drum Jam Andy aka Andolph, Angel's Andrew, Angel, Traveler and Trillium (although both have LJ), Damien and Cheryl (if you catch them when they are not working), Ona (wish her a happy freaking birthday for me), Cheryl's Andrew, Lord Meat aka Kyle, Mikey and his girlfriend (if both are there), and someone should please glomp Mandy AND Casey. Go visit Shaina in her kilt shop and send her my love along with Shaina's friend with the cute green cat ears who's name is escaping me. Also send love to Gypsy and Isis and Winter and Siren. Massive love to everyone I missed and hugs and kisses and everything.

That is a real disappointment about the Faire, I am certain. I am so sorry you can't go as often as you would like.

well the weird thing is that up until last year I had only gone to Faire once a summer and I was okay with that.

Last year I got to go a total of 9 times because I had a guaranteed ride to Faire every time I had the chance to go.

It would be super nice if it was located closer to me. It's an hour and a half drive from my house which really sucks gas and it probably doesn't help that my finanical situation is draining as I have tuition bills to pay now.

*sighs*

The most important thing to me at the moment has been spending time with my boyfriend Nick, which I got to do yesterday because I had to pick my parents up from the train station in the town he lives in today.

well, Mother Nature prevented anyone from going to Faire today. We had so much rain yesterday they had to close for excessive flooding.

I hope its back up and running next weekend.
