All my thoughts are behind the cut. If you don't want to get spoiled, don't pursue the post any further.

Oh. My. Goddess.

*screams at TV and cries helplessly*

They killed Nathan. Dirty, Rotten, Cock-Sucking Bastards.

Nope, I'm not upset by this turn of events at all. *dripping sarcasm*

This episode was amazing! I was seriously biting my nails on the edge of my seat the whole time. This was an excellent way to wrap up the second volume and move into the third.

First, yay for Peter stopping the virus...or at least I'm pretty sure he did. I hope that creepy, green substance that Peter absorbed doesn't cause any further problems.

I feel really horribly for Micah this season. He lost his dad and his mom but at least he still has family in New Orleans.

Massive kudoes go out to Hiro for serving up a fate worse than death for our villain, Adam. Very well played on his part.

And I heart Elle. She's spunky even if she has daddy issues. And I completely got plot bunnies for an Elle/Sylar fic. *hangs head in shame*

Let's see what else can I say...

I can't wait until next year's new episodes start. I have a feeling Volume III is going to rock.

I'd love to see a showdown between badass Sylar and Maya. That would be cool.

I second all of that.

This episode was a nail biter for me too!

I literally gasped when they shot Nathan! I didn't want him to go out like that and his mother really pisses me off, lol.

And I'm starting to like Elle, I loved that she went after Sylar and was all smiles cause she helped the others.

Poor Micah is right, I liked Nikki and didn't want her to die but at least she went out a hero.

I LOVED how Hiro got back at Adam, very well played indeed.

I'm glad Peter FINALLY realized that Adam was bad news, So thankful he stopped the virus! And what green substance?? I must've missed it...grr, I'll have to watch it again online.

Seeing a Maya & Sylar showdown would so kick ass!

And I think Volume III is going to rock too! I'm anxious for it to come back next year.

The green substance looked like it was ash left over from after Peter irradiated the virus vial, and the way it blew away it looked like it got absorbed into his skin. I'm pretty sure it just blew away though.

Killing Nathan was a shocking move, but I gotta say it was pretty poorly planned by the writers. It makes little sense for an assasin to enter a press conference with two mind readers with the ability to control minds unnoticed, kill someone, then WALK OUT without getting noticed and/or followed. I know it's a show, but it was still a serious deus ex machina that could have been avoided by better planning

I also loved Hiro's retaliation, and the fact that Peter used his radiation abilities safely means he's prolly not gonna blow up again unless he wants to. Niki dying was pretty suprising too... what's Micah going to do now?

Elle also won points with me ^_^

Can I get a check - am I the only one getting sick of Sylar? Reintroducing him as the antagonist does make a certain amount of sense, but the "I'm evil" look and accompanying clockwork sounds are beginning to wear on me.

Also I'm kind of doubting that Maya could take on Sylar. After all, all she can do is introduce illness, and even if she learns to target certain individuals Sylar is still highly resillient (3 bullets to the stomach anyone?) and has proven extended resistance to her infections in the past, and I doubt she can kill him before he can simply snap her neck with telekinesis.

Well, there's been speculation that the killer looked a bit like HRG/Noah. I think walking out could be accomplished in a rioting crowd/crowd that's freaking out. As for the mind readers, I'm really not sure either one of them expected an assassination attempt to begin with so it's unlikely that either of them would be paying attention to what people are thinking.

As for Micah, he had family in New Orleans. One friend of mine pointed out that one woman in the picture of the Company never got mentioned or killed and it could be suggested that the woman is Micah's aunt Uhura.

As for Sylar....well, I'm a Sylar fangirl and so I'm excited that he is back in full force. We're also dealing with a mutated version of Claire's blood here so the exact extent of what Sylar is capable of is unknown.

It will be interesting to see where this goes.
