In Memorium - Dr. PB Poorman
Jun. 27th, 2008 09:13 amToday marks the one year anniversary of my undergraduate professor's death. One year ago today a great and orginal woman lost her life because someone decided to get on the freeway in the middle of the afternoon under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
In her honor, I wrote a poem. There are references to God and Christianity so if that bothers you, I don't expect you to read it.
One quick thing before the poem: At 6:30 PM CST, people are invited to light a candle in remembrance. I don't expect any one on my flist to do that but it would still mean a lot to me if you were able to find the time to do it.
