Ahh, Monday. The start of another week filled with work and trainings and staff meetings and many other things to swallow up my 7:45-4:30 time. I got to help the senior VR counselor in my home draft eligibility letters today and that was pretty cool.

They are definitely transitioning me into this position slowly, but I suppose that's a good thing because it gives me time to adapt to the style and the challenges presented by this type of work.
In other news, I've been reading the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan (and Pawnee: The Greatest Town In America. - *squishes* for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
snowpuppies~) I have to say the Percy books are decent reads. They're fun and I definitely like the spins on Greek Mythology. Sometimes though, they feel a bit like they're trying really hard to be the next Harry Potter and I really can't see them that way.
Anywho, I think that's it on the update front.
