Feb. 14th, 2014 10:49 pmTonight was the opening night of our Cabernet Cabaret and I could not be more proud of my cast for the work they did tonight. I'm also giddy because I nailed my high note tonight and that is just plain awesome.
We performed for a packed wine bar and got the laughs we were hoping for. We also made over $300 in donations, which is damn impressive in my opinion!
There were naturally a few hiccups (and one massive burp), but that is Murphy's Law and I tried to not let those things get to me too much. Admittedly, though, as a co-producer, I already had my fair share of anxiety without the hiccups and burps.
Regardless, I am seriously looking forward to tomorrow night and I'm also looking forward to getting a free day on Sunday to just relax. :P
