He felt more alive now than he ever had before. He was no longer the dorky sidekick sitting in the dust waiting for his superhero girl to ask him out. The hyena spirit possessing him had made him the alpha, the leader. It was a constant rush. He felt like the stars had aligned and he knew that someday, the world would be bow to him. But first, he was going to make her bow to him. The spirit inside of him wanted to possess her too. Wanted to control her. Wanted to devour her. Wanted to make them one.

I took the concept from what I thought Hyena!Xander was thinking before the scene with Buffy in the classroom.
