The Controversial Survey

1. Do you have the guts to answer these questions and re-post as The Controversial Survey? I would hope so
2. Would you do meth if it was legal? No. Meth is a scary, scary drug and I'm screwed up enough as it is.
3. Abortion: for or against it? I am for abortion in the sense that I believe that a woman has the right to choose what she does with her body. I do think there are people who use abortion for the wrong reasons but I also know that it's a safe alternative for people who need it. That right shouldn't be taken away from them.
4. Do you think the world would fail with a female president? Other countries have female presidents and they're doing just fine. I think Hillary would have made a great President. Sarah Palin, on the other hand, is too much of a puppet and I'm pretty sure she'd make worse decisions that George W did.
5. Do you believe in the death penalty? I don't agree with the death penalty but at the same time, I can see where it might be useful like in the case of Ted Bundy.
6. Do you wish marijuana would be legalised already? Yes! There's no reason for it not to be and I think it would benefit from being government regulated. I will admit that I enjoy imbibing every so often and it would be nice to be able to access it without issue.
7. Are you for or against premarital sex? I'm for it...but not when Abstinence Only sex education programs are in place. Everyone should learn about safe sex, contraceptive use, and all the other "taboo" sex topics. I found a really great resource for safe sex education called the midwestteensexshow.com. They cover a lot of issues that I think teens and adults should be aware of.
8. Do you believe in God? I believe in a higher power. I just don't think it's the Christian God.
9. Do you think same sex marriage should be legalised? YES! This country claims that it endorses freedom but we sure as hell have a hard time giving fair rights to everyone.
10. Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA? I have a small problem with the illegal part but there's nothing wrong with immigration.
11. A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it? I don't think a 12 year old girl is emotionally or physically ready for taking care of a life. But if the girl is supported by her family, culture keeping it might be more of a possibility.
12. Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen? I think so.
13. Should the war in Iraq be called off? Yes
14. Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree? In my ethics class, I found out that it is legal in Oregon and I think if the person is making a reasonable end-of-life decision, that it should be legal in other places too.
15. Do you believe in spanking your children? No. There are other ways to punish children.
16. Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars? I'm a broke college student. There's a pretty good chance I would.
17. Who do you think would make a better president? Tina Fey.
