Horribly Confused

Okay, so the new episode of HIMYM (The Stinsons) was pre-empted by Obama's speech last night. I get that and am doing my darndest to move on in the spirit that CBS will have to air the episode eventually (I'm still crossing my fingers for next week). I mean they probably knew about this for awhile and knew how they would need to revamp their schedule.

However, I've heard that CBS won't be airing the episode till March 2nd which *grr* but again, I can suck it up.

The main thing that really confuses me though is apparently it was leaked on iTunes and Amazon.com for a short while and some people were able to watch it.

WHAT THE HELL??

Don't they have memos for this shit?

I think it's more a case of the sites like iTunes and Amazon have the digital copies in advance and the memo about the pre-emption probably doesn't come out until the day of so it has to trickle down to a couple of levels.

It's probably why iTunes Canada won't have anything on CBC available until the day after it's aired.

Well, I think CBS would be in much better shape if they chose to air the episode next week instead of waiting two whole weeks before they show it.

Especially with the fact that some have already gotten to watch it.

It's kind of silly of them to not air it.

Even more so if people have managed to get their hands on it, I wouldn't be surpised if it'll be availble for download before too long.

It'd be in CBS' best interests to air the new episode next week especially when almost everything will be in repeats.

I know. It's so frustrating, knowing that there's already copies out there, but I can't watch it.
